Welcome to my site!
My name is Maryna Laas. I am the muse, main author and owner of this site.
As a child, I loved to sew dresses for dolls, and when I turned 16 I decided to learn sewing and design.
I’m a psychologist. But my vocation through all my life has been designing clothes. I discovered a lot of secret techniques which I am eager to share with you.
I also love to visit various international exhibitions.
Last time I visited:
- The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston
- Fashion Museum in Riga
- Golden Fashion Square in Milan
- Tommy Cash and Rick Owens
- The Pure and the Damned at the KUMU Art Museum in Estonia
My keen desire is to help people begin sewing easily and creating their own sewing patterns. I believe that the individual sense of style is the heart of fashion. Also, I realized that beginners tend to be afraid of working with sewing machines. To help them I will be regularly writing articles about using sewing machines of any kind. The site will be constantly filling up with clear and precise instructions. Besides, I am creating new sewing patterns. Here I will share my experience and knowledge that will help a beginner to learn tailoring and sewing, create unique clothes with your own hands.
You can find me on Pinterest and Instagram.
I will always be happy with your comments and feedback!
